One Month Portraits & Our Update

Well, Week 5 is coming to an end. Thank the Good Lord. It has been a challenge to say the least. It began by finding out our sitter's kids had RSV (basically a really bad lower respiratory infection that can be extremely serious in babies 6 mos and younger), and Milo was exposed. Then both boys got stuffy/runny noses -- generally the first sign of RSV. But, a praise that it ended there for Hank (at least so far). Poor Milo ended up with his third double ear infection in as many months. Crazy -- he never had one ear infection until he turned 3, and now it's been 1 every month since. Antibiotics are our friends.

Anyway, I've been home all week with both kids. All.week.long. It's been a long, long week. Filled with a frillion questions from Milo that are repeated ad nauseum. Typical conversation goes something like this:
Milo - Can we build this train track? Can we? Can we? Can we build this track?
Me - Yes, Milo.
Milo - OK. But, can we? Can I have some Diego fruit snacks? Can I? Can I?
Me - Yes, Milo.
Milo - OK. But, can I? Can you help me get them? Can you? Can you?

And I'll stop the transcript there.

As for Hank, he's still eating and pooping and sleeping and growing. His one month portraits from JCPenney are above. We thought they turned out cute and good. But maybe we're biased. ;) Oh! Most important (at least to me), he's started smiling some. I'll try to post a good pic soon.

I'll sign off for now. Drop us a line and let us know how you are. Can you? Can you?
